Brighter Days Ahead: Discovering Hidden Gems Inside You

IPOLS held Rafting as the final event of IPOLS BRIDGING series which is an activity that combines elements of sports, recreation, adventure, and education.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a massive impact on our lives. As students, the pandemic has brought us incredible and unexpected experiences with many changes in society’s educational and social aspects. This condition causes a lack of interaction between students, so during this transition period, new students face challenges that are quite formidable to face campus life and re-adapt to the surrounding environment.

Responding to the above problems, IPOLS FH UMY held an IPOLS Bridging event on October 16-17, 2021, in Bukit Surya, Kaliurang. IPOLS Bridging is a very important activity that new IPOLS students must follow to transition from school to university life. IPOLS took “Brighter Days Ahead: Discovering Hidden Gems Inside You” as its theme in this Bridging Activity.

By reciting al-basmallah, the event was officially opened by M. Endriyo Sisila, S.H., MCL., Ph.D. as the director of IPOLS. The committee also wrapped the bridging with fun games and art performances which are expected to be a means to help students prepare to socialize as well as explore their own potential and leadership.
