Students are national assets that are one of the keys to the country’s growth, where young minds play a part in the history of the nation’s and state’s existence. Students must be able to transmit constructive ideas, ideas, and views as change agents so that students’ thoughts and ambitions become one of the crucial aspects of the country’s advancement.

The development of a systematic and dynamic way of thinking is an important factor in the development of student actualization. Being critical of actual problems and the surrounding conditions is one of the important foundations for student self-development. However, it is not enough for students to have critical and systematic thinking. Courage is also needed to argue and the ability to express opinions and rationale. The synchronization of the two things can be realized, one of which is through the media of a debate competition. To provide space for the development of thinking and self-actualization, IPOLS held an internal debate competition for IPOLS students which was held on October 31, 2021. The purpose of this competition was to instill a competitive spirit and serve as a forum for IPOLS students in order to improve their skills. and the contribution of thought to the development of law.
